Utility Operator Needed

City of Hesston is looking for a Utility Operator.

Utility Workers - Delvin ClaytonThis position performs a variety of semi-skilled and skilled technical and maintenance work in the operation, maintenance, and repair of the city’s water, sewer, and natural gas systems.
  • Duties include operation of various types of construction equipment including loaders, backhoes, and trenchers, as well as hands on work.
  • Employment requirements include: a valid Kansas driver’s license, obtain a Class B CDL (with manual transmission) license within 6 months of hire date.
  • Knowledge of construction practices and techniques helpful.
